I bring a strategic and creative approach to digital communications, with hands-on experience managing social media for Kansas Corn, Kansas Corn STEM, and The Junky Cow. From developing content calendars to creating engaging graphics and videos, I focus on building meaningful connections with audiences and delivering measurable results. I’ve also planned and executed targeted social media advertising campaigns that successfully increased event attendance and boosted requests for educational resources for both Kansas Corn STEM and National Corn STEM. In addition, I’ve developed and managed e-newsletters for Kansas Corn and Kansas Corn STEM, ensuring consistent messaging and effective communication across digital platforms. My experience allows me to blend creativity, strategy, and analytics to create digital assets that inform, engage, and drive action.

Social Media Advertising Campaigns:
Social media has evolved into a pay-to-play environment, making paid advertising an essential part of reaching the right audiences and achieving meaningful results. During my time with Kansas Corn, I developed expertise in paid social media by combining audience analysis with strategic ad planning. I focused on creating targeted campaigns designed to meet specific goals, from increasing event attendance to driving resource downloads. My approach goes beyond simply boosting posts; it involves thoughtful audience targeting, message testing, and performance evaluation to ensure each campaign delivers measurable impact.
These graphics belong to a sucessful campaign Kansas Corn STEM launched around National Ag Day to increase awareness of their National Corn STEM program and increase lesson kit requests. The first ad was so successful at targeting teachers in specific states that we ran the same ad three more times.

E-Newsletters
In my duties as Digital Marketing and Communications Manager for Kansas Corn I was in charge of putting together and sending out the semimonthly Kansas Corn Insider for KCGA members and the monthly Kansas Corn STEM e-newsletter to teachers. I also sent out email invites, news releases and follow-up emails from events. Click on the email headers below to view an example.
